Uses
The mechanisms by which vitamin E might provide healthy immunity support include its function as an antioxidant and its roles in anti-inflammatory processes, inhibition of platelet aggregation, and immune enhancement.

Physiological Function
- Vitamin E healthy coronary heart function.
- Vitamin E support cell constituents from the damaging effects of free radicals that, if left unchecked, might contribute to abnormal cell development.
- Vitamin E supports healthy vision, such as Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and cataracts.
- Vitamin E is widely used as a good source of antioxidant.
Absorption and Tissue Deposition
Stored mainly in the fatty (adipose) tissues, the liver and in muscles.
Vitamin E requires the presence of fats and bile in the gut to be absorbed. The degree to which vitamin E is absorbed by the body is dependent on the total absorption of dietary fat.
Absorption of vitamin E is highly dependent upon the same processes that are utilized during fatty acid digestion and metabolism.
Common, and critical, to both fat and vitamin E absorption are micelle and chylomicron formation.
Formulating Techniques
Necessary excipients to make active ingredient stable and well-solved in the softgel content.
Side Effects
Research has not found any adverse effects from consuming vitamin E in food. However, high doses of alpha-tocopherol supplements can cause hemorrhage and interrupt blood coagulation in animals, and in vitro data suggest that high doses inhibit platelet aggregation.
Storage
Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.
Packaging
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with tamper resistance cap-ring. |
